Food Waste Reduction Initiative for East Cork Businesses
East Cork Food Businesses are invited to get involved in Savour Food.
The Clean Technology Centre (CIT), Taste Cork and SECAD have joined forces to assist business in the East Cork Region to cut food waste costs.
The average tonne of food waste from a food service provider has an associated cost of €2,500, when you consider the cost of food purchase, food preparation and food waste disposal.
Getting involved will give your business access to:
* Free consultancy from experts in waste and resource management
* Food waste prevention training
* A platform to share experiences and solutions within the local food industry
