IBEC Environment Awards IBEC has been Ireland’s national coordinator of the European Business Awards for the Environmental since 2000.
A cornerstone of IBEC policy is a commitment to sustainable development. Thus, the organisation recognises the importance of these awards as they showcase efforts within the business community to encourage more environmentally sustainable practices. IBEC’s Environmental Awards encompass the following five award categories: Management, Product, Process, International Business Cooperation and IBEC Environmental Excellence.
The eventual winners and commendations are selected by our independent judging panel and subsequently entered into the European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE). The judging panel consists of experts in the fields of environmental law, corporate social responsibility and academia. Representatives from governmental and environmental agencies make up the remainder of the judging panel.
Entries to the IBEC Environment Awards close on Friday 9th December 2011 and winners will be announced in January 2012. The Irish winners and those receiving commendations will then go forward to represent Ireland in the European Business Awards for the Environment. Winners of the European award will be announced in June/July 2012.
Complete the attached application forms and return to Robert O'Shea (robert.oshea@ibec.ie, (01) 605 1526) before close of business 9th December 2011. (Note: Entries will only be accepted if they comply with the maximum length limitations. This is a requirement of entry into the European Awards)
