Green Business is currently assisting a number of business communities with resource efficiency. This has come about from local actors/ facilitators requesting the services of Green Business to assist in promoting resource efficiency. Actors include LAO’s / other staff from local Authorities, leaders of Tidy Towns committees, Festival organisers, Business groups and chambers of commerce.


In 2018, Green Business has been requested to establish Green Business Networks in:

  1. Kenmare, in conjunction with the Tidy Towns
  2. Killarney, in conjunction with the Tidy Towns
  3. Swords, in conjunction with the Tidy Towns
  4. Carlow, in conjunction with the Carlow Co. Co. and Carlow / Kilkenny Energy Agency
  5. Cashel, in conjunction with Zero Waste Cashel
  6. Thurles, in conjunction Chamber of Commerce
  7. Ennis, in conjunction with the Clare Co. Co and the Green Fleadh
  8. Galway City, in conjunction with Galway City Council
