This busy family run restaurant in the centre of Midleton, Co. Cork employs 23 staff and is open 7 days a
week with staff on site from 6AM – 10PM.
Like many Irish businesses, they have been working hard on reducing overheads and improving the
efficiency of their restaurant in the past few years. They have looked at all aspects of the business and
have made a number of key improvements including:
• Upgraded their lighting to more efficient LEDs
• Changed water fixtures and fittings to more efficient ones
• Improved recycling and now get suppliers to take back packaging materials
• Consolidated inefficient cooking machines
