WRAP recently reported an increase in the level of food being redistributed in the UK by charitable and commercial organisations. Between 2015 and 2017, there was an increase of 14,500 tonnes of food redistributed across the UK. This represents an 80% increase redistribution from charities and a increase in redistribution from commercial businesses.

The UK Government’s Food Waste Reduction Fund, administered by WRAP, will fund eight charitable and not-for-profit groups to expand their work in food redistribution. Find out more about the fund here.
